From time to time, important issues affecting our corner of the world rear their ugly heads. When they do, we will add them to our Issues page. As you can see from the links above, we had a problem with a sandplant being operated across the road from us. This problem has gone away because the company operating the plant went broke and stopped operation. We are happy about that.

But now, San Diego County residents are faced with a dirty energy project proposed by San Diego Gas & Electric Company. Click on the Sunrise Power Link above to find out more. This particular project had several proposed routes all over the county, at least 3 of which crossed our property. Imagine running a 150-200 foot high transmission line right through the national forest (after it crosses our land).
