We are starting to repair the erosion damage to La Posta Creek caused by years of neglect by creating small earthen dams that will trap sand flowing with the water and eventually elevate the level of the creek bed. Pipes will be placed in the dams to allow the water to continue its flow. In some places the flow will be redirected to help with erosion control.

When we started this site we said we would post photographs and provide narration of our progress. Here's our update, including some environmental history and our conservation plan.
