We are still experimenting with plants and flowers to see what will grow in this climate. We've found that roses do well here and snap dragons seem to thrive. Our outdoor Christmas Tree, a Monterey Pine, is doing well, too. Here it is covered with snow on Christmas eve (Dec. 1997).
